Tukuwool was born from a deep affection for wool and a commitment to crafting something truly exceptional. We are dedicated to presenting the world with authentic Finnish yarn—sourced, spun, and dyed entirely in Finland. Alongside Finnish wool, we’ve introduced high-quality yarns from Italy — like silk mohair and cashmere silk — to complement our selection.

The Tukubook honours yarn crafted in Finland from pure Finnish wool. Finnish wool may initially feel a bit rough and rustic in the skein, but as you work with it and wash it, it transforms into your honest, long-time companion—much like us Finns. Tukuwool yarns possess a rustic charm and soften beautifully with handling, washing, and wear. The more attention you lavish on them, the more they reward you in return. Our yarns excel in colorwork and lend themselves well to creative experimentation with hues.
